Hammers of war – crushing down

How can we escape this bloodthirsty hoard?

I hack and I slash in a frenzy of steel
1000 years of training define my skill
They fall by my relentless blade
Yet more raiders move in for the kill

i saw a movie with a crazy creature coming out of the ocean like this, but, instead of a lighthouse illuminating it, people were throwing matches and yelling obscenities. It seemed to have the same effect - none Dumb mmmn
